Continuing with its 50th Anniversary celebrations, the ia has published a special omnibus edition of the ia Journal. The Journal Omnibus has many interesting features including popular articles from previous editions of the ia Journal and is a useful reference for those who live with an ileostomy or ileo anal pouch. This edition is dedicated to the memory of Professor Bryan Brooke, MD FRCS and Doreen Harris MBE who were the driving forces behind the formation of the ia in April 1956.

The ia Journal, which is issued quarterly, free to members, provides a vital link between patients, healthcare professionals and the manufacturers of stoma equipment and can be a useful source of information for the general public.
