For quite a number of years Brenda (my wife) has had medical supplies from Salts Medilink and has been completely satisfied with the service provided. The staff are always happy and willing to oblige and also quick to respond if we hear of anything new on the market that may help Brenda.
A big thank you for the help and advice we receive from the Harlesden team who we now consider as friends.
In July, Ann Nolan invited us to an open day at the Harlesden branch, in London. We were pleased to meet the team and thoroughly enjoyed the day. We had the pleasure of meeting Ann, Diane Rotchell and of course, Mr Peter Salt, himself. We could tell that it is a happy company by the enthusiasm displayed by everyone and they all made sure we met and spoke to all colleagues. It was an added bonus to be entered into the raffle and what a lovely surprise to receive a clock/weather station by post that Brenda had won. Many thanks.
We are always pleased to meet your sales/demonstration team when they hold the seminar in Southend as we can compare notes and be updated with anything new on the market that will help Brenda. At this point, I will state that Brenda was born with spina bifida and has had a urostomy for 52 years. We would always be willing to talk to anyone in need of advice in how she has managed and problems we have encountered and overcome over the years, if it would help.
Our family consists of two sons and now six grandchildren; the last grand-daughter was born on 24 October 2008. Their ages range from 25 years to newborn.
Thanks from Brenda and I to all the staff at Salts Medilink.
Clyde and Brenda Saunders, Southend-on-Sea.
I am writing to you to say a great big thank you.
I went on holiday to Aberdeen and ended up in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, with a Pulmonary Embolism. As I am an irrigator, I had only taken a few large bags with me. I was desperate… My daughter-in-law phoned the Medilink line at 3pm and the local office, along with my usual branch in Broadway, liaised and had a delivery to me on the ward by 9am the following morning. Super quick service, which had me feeling so much better. I 'educated' several nurses in how to change a pouch, and that a colostomy was not the end of life as we know it, but a simple and quick thing to do, certainly no worse than changing an infant, then held a 'class' on irrigation. Just try demonstrating in front of six nurses and two young good looking house men! It was the best laugh I have had in ages. Explaining why I irrigate and how it gives back control. I did a really naughty thing and left three pouches, a Cavilon wand, an almost empty Appeal and some swabs as an emergency pack for the ward: and six nurses who no longer felt that a stoma was a nasty thing to live with.
But I digress, this is really to tell you just how great the Salts staff are.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Message in a Christmas card…
To everyone who answers the phone and takes orders at Salts Medilink (Edinburgh). Particular thanks to all of you for all of the times I've been just out of hospital, having various problems and having not been, I suspect, too coherent. Nothing has ever been too much trouble for you - you've arranged emergency deliveries (once, you got someone to come out on a cold and rainy Saturday), changes of specifications at short notice, etc, and always remaining cheerful and helpful. I am deeply grateful for all your assistance, without which life would have been a lot grimmer than it is. Very best wishes to you and yours.
Simon Glynne, Fife.
