The Urostomy Association exists to help people with a urinary diversion and is able to offer the following services:
- Helpline - 08452 412159 - Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm (An answerphone is available at all other times so you can leave a message out of hours)
- A wide variety of leaflets covering all aspects of life with a urinary diversion
- Members’ Handbook - presented to new members, covering all aspects of life with a urinary diversion
- A 72-page full colour Journal three times a year with a mixture of articles, information and up-to-the minute news from product manufacturers and suppliers
- A DVD about living with a urinary diversion by Pam Flint (partner of actor Dennis Waterman)
- Branches - around the UK, the UA has local branches which meet regularly and provide support to people with a urinary diversion
- NAGM - Annual event when the UA holds a business meeting and a weekend when they can meet up with others from throughout the UK
